  B-PEP, the Black Political Empowerment Project, was launched on May 21, 1986 as a non-partisan community collaborative, consisting of agency, organization and religious leaders, as well as committed individuals, which seeks to build political power and influence for the African American community

 Bloomfield/Garfield Corporation

 The Bloomfield/Garfield Corporation is a community organization serving the Garfield and Bloomfield Communities.

 Lawrenceville United

Lawrenceville United works with the residents of Lawrenceville to give voice to the concerns of the citizens. We work with community leaders to solve the problems of the residents

Lawrenceville United is a non-profit, resident-driven, community-based organization, which was established in May of 2001. As of October 2008, LU had over 600 members. The organization encompasses the 6th, 9th, and 10th wards of Lawrenceville in the City of Pittsburgh.

Lawrenceville United works with the residents of Lawrenceville to give voice to the concerns of the citizens. We work with community leaders to solve the problems of the residents

 The Thomas Merton Center

 The Thomas Merton Center works to instill a consciousness of values and to raise the moral questions involved in the issues of war, poverty, racism, and oppression. TMC members are people from diverse philosophies and faiths who find common ground in the nonviolent struggle to bring about a more peaceful and just society.
